PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Letrozole belongs to a group of medicines called ‘aromatase inhibitors’. Letrozole ‘s a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor used to treat breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Letrozole is often given to women whose cancer has progressed even after taking tamoxifen.
CHARACTERISTIC: Letrozole tablets work by cutting down the amount of the hormone called estrogen that your body makes. It does this by blocking a natural substance (an enzyme) in your body called ‘aromatase’.
INDICATION: Letrozole tablets are used to treat breast cancer in women who have gone through the menopause.
SIDE EFFECTS: Most common are hot flush, bleeding from the colpos, itching of external genitals, gentle sickness, emesia, cerebralgia, retention of water in the body, edema, erythra, slackness, turnside, pain in the area of tumour, hair loss, increase of the level of liver enzymes, pimelosis of the liver, disable of the bilin to run into the bowel, irritation of the liver.
DOSAGE: As administrated and supervised by physician or doctor.
